porto gruraro,italy june 12

hi everyone
mac is going to write some blogs also and he is keeping a diary.
we reached this little town after riding on mostly flat terrain through fields along the river lemene.
lots of old big farmhouses abondened and falling down. right now we are having  breakfast at the beautiful hotel porteus right now and mac is vexing me by wobbeling the table.
cant write too much have to ride 65km today to get to our next stop palmanova.
we are riding on mostly country roads not much traffic realy, sometimes a biketrail mostly gravel
rout finding can be difficult sometimes.often we run into other people who are also on the ride
there are the norwegen women, who are fun, a canadien couple from ottowa and some british follks
its fun to run into them and exchange adventures. yesterday ed the canadien stopped us looking for his wife, he looked back and she wasn't there he was really upset . we had a phone. he called her and she was safe in the hotel 13km away. guess she passed him somewhere. one of the norwegans fell off her bike and cracked a rib, but she is going on.
we had a nice dinner last night at a little restaurant I had piatta a la casa sauris.
went to a pharmazia yesterday and managed to ask per favore dove medicine per dolore de callo
and got it and it is helping my sore throat.
really have to go now
