starting the danube biketrail

we left bad kissingen in pouring rain, got on the train ok with the bikes.

now you have to know that it is not that easy to get the bikes on the train, there are always steps to get up

to the compartmen there  are stepe to get from platform to platform. we had to change trains 4 times and

finally figured  that on some stations one can actually use the elevator. Our last change was Mannheim

and from there we could enjoy two hours of riding through the black forest,which was really very beautiful

we arrived in donaueschingen around 6 pm and rode to our Hotel called Waldblick a very nice place
 with lots of flowers hanging from the balconies (fotos follow) 
here we are in the schwaben land (Baden Wuertemberg) and the food and d ialect are very different from bavaria. we have been eating lots of spaetzli with cheese.

so tomorrow we will start the danube bike trail and mac will keep you posted with text and photos
