Rakoczy is the name of the most famous spring in Bad Kissingen. He never made to BK though. The fest celebrates the historical figures that have come to drink the waters such as Empress Sisi of Austria, Tsar Alexander II of Russia, Empress Catherine the Great, and Otto Bismarck, etc. Citizens dress up as the figures and they roam around town during the fest signing autographs and having their picture taken. Picture closing downtown Redding from Eureka Way to Gold St. and from East St. to West St., Placing a 2000 tables, 50+ beer wine, and mixed drink booth plus the restaurants that are already there and bringing 30 to 40 thousand people. There must have been 15 venues with music(american). There were the usual concerts at the Kurgarten and the Casino which are more longhair or traditional Bavarian music. Good party
