Tomorrow we are starting the first part of our bike trip "Romantic Road' from Wuerzburg to Fuessen and on the Bodensee and Isar bike trails to Munich .

The "Romantische Strasse" as it is called had already been used by the Romans and was called  "Via Claudia Augustus." It is still an important road connecting  Italy with commerce of the cities of
middle Germany. There is a separate bike traill along the route, which brings us to many well preserved towns and villages of the middle ages, Like Rothenburg.oT, Feuchtwangen Donauwoerth,Augsburg Landsberg am Lech . It follows the rivers Main, Tauber. Danube and Lech. Fuessen will be the end of the trail. We will be riding through more flat and hilly country until we reach the foothills of  the alps at Landsberg am Lech.
The length of the trail is 460km
