After breakfast at Nicolas we decided to check out the old quarter of Frankfurt.  We visited the Kaisers Dom where all the German kings were crowned.  Then on to the city center called the Roemer with it's beautiful rennaisance city hall and market place.  Walked on to the Zeil which used to be the cow market in olden times but is now a very expensive shopping street.  Lots of tourists and shoppers from all different countries and since we don't like big cities very much we decided to get on the trail again heading towards the Rhein.
