Ludmilla and the mounted pike from the Saale River.  These fish were caught by Johanna's grandfather and Dad and one was caught by Peter's son Stephen.  3 of the older fish have just been renovated.  One is close to 100 years old
Part of the commons room in house 1.  House 1 is where Peter's friends stay when they visit or are in rehab
Klinic commons room.  Beer, wine and pastries can be bought here.  And usually each night they have entertainment of some sort from bands to chamber music to slide shows etc.   I could only get half the room in one picture.

The place where we stay is on the grounds of the Deegenberg Klinic owned by our benefactor Peter Deeg.  This is not what we think a rehab clinic is in Redding.  The German health care system allows up to 6 weeks of  rehab which is paid for by the State.  There is 10 euro/day out of pocket charge.  Over the period of time the patient is here he is taught, depending on the problem, how to control diet, exercise right and improve their overall health and help recover from surgery.  There is everything from diabetics, heart attacks victums, alcoholics, most types of surgery recovery and orthopedic rehab.  We only have breakfast there but they do serve 3 meals a day.  For breakfast there is cereals, yogurt, fruit, fresh rolls, cheese, and wurst.  No bacon and eggs.  The site has at least 100 acres and there are lots of lawn with lounge chairs for when the sun is out and plenty of trails to wander around on.  There is direct bus service to the town center and patients are given a Kurkarte for admittance to the concerts at the Kurgarten given twice a day.  All in all if you have to be in rehab this is nice place to do it.
