We left Eltville and found the bike trail by the river.  Now we see a lot of boat traffic.  There are freighters, cruise ships and sightseeing boats.  Some are headed to the Danube via the Main-Donau canal.  At Ruedesheim we started seeing vineyards and Castles that make the Rhein famous.  We took the ferry to the left side of the river at Bingen.  Now we start seeing castles at every turn of the river and Mac photographed and named them all.  At Bacharach we stopped for some federweisen and zwiebelkuchen.  Back to the trail and soon the Loreley Rock came into view.  We made it to the town of Boppard.  Found a room at the Hotel Hunsrueck and called it a day.
