We left Bischofsheim around 10.00 a.m. and it looked as so we might have some sun. Right away the trail went uphill for quite a while and we realized we had to go over a pass. Up ans up it went and then a steep downhill to the town of Gersfeld. There it started raining and kept it up all the way to Fulda 40km away.
The trail followed the little stream also called Fulda and it went throuh beautiful green countryside and woods.We stopped at Castle Fasanery a beautiful castle from the 17th century.
It was easy to follow the bike trail into the city to the touris info,were they found a room for us at Park Hotel close to the old City Center. Looking forward to a fin e Dinner and some sight seeing tomorrow..
