Bad Kissingen 1.September 2014


Rode up to a fest in the village of Wollbach ,They were baking a specialty called Rhoener Blootz
It is made from dark bread dough rolled out thin and topped with some kind of cottage cheese mixture and baked in the village wood fired oven. It is very popular and had to stand in line for over half hour and  than I only got half of one. It would take another half  hour before the next lot would be ready. At least we had a taste, very delicious.


So we went to get Mushrooms and they just shoot out of the ground in the woods here. Went to my sisters and had a Boleta feast.
Leaving on a short 4 day bike trip today in this area.
