I got to hike in the Rhoen with my sister Magdalena.  We drove to the trailhead and hiked a long loop on the high plateau of the Hessen part of the rhoen mountains.  On the way back we stopped at the little castle for a beer and brotzeit.  The weather was blauweisser himmel like the colors in the bavarian flag.  It was nice to spend a day just the two of us.
