Yesterday I had another chance to go onanother hike with my sister Magdalena. We went to her favorite hiking spots in the Hessian Rhoen. We climbed a steep trail and ended on a high plateau from there
one has a beautiful view to the far mountains and valleys of Franken.We could see the the way we had biked the week before on our way to Coburg.Franken is called the "land of the middle" the land of the far distances and also the green garden of germany. It is my "Heinat" there is no english word for it but it means a place that is your home, no matter where in the world you are
It is always great when I can spend a whole day with my sister, just the two of us. we do miss each other..
we hiked a 15 km looptrail around the high plateau back to the car. Naturally we stopped for beer and a brotzeit in the hut before heading back to the car, we had a beautiful white and blue bavarian sky, just
like the bavarian flag,. Day after tomorrow we all head to Muenich to the opening of the Octoberfest.
