As we left Burgkunstadt we stopped at the town zentrum to look at the rathaus and some other buildings that are good examples of fachwerk construction(pics 1and 2). This was a nice ride thru an amazing amounts of meadows as in pic 3. As we went thru one village J saw a store with a sale on dirndels. Naturally she couldn't pass up a sale. She ended up buying a dirndel for the octoberfest.
We stopped in Lichtenfelds and had ice cream. It's a cute town with the gates at each end of the town square. A lot of villiages are like this. We rode on and ended up in a small gesthaus in Rattelsdorf. It was a nice low key place that had some locals drinking a lot of beer. No internet though so we got behind on the blog.
