Pic 1 is doofus leaving Gemunden. Pic 2 is a pilgrimage church at Schurnau. Pic 4 is an old mill along the way that is still operating by water power. Pics 6,7 are the fountain and rathaus in Hammelburg. We stopped in the square and had eis. The rest are views along the trail. This was one of best sections of the whole trail. It went along the Saale River thru woods and meadows, paved lanes and dirt tracks, and very little traffic, bike or otherwise.
