The long drive

we're off on another adventure. This time to Americas heartland to ride the Cowboy Trail in NE nebraska and then the Katy Trail in Missouri. We saw stunning vistas and abject ugliness. The ugliness was going thru Christmas Valley(such a beautifull name) Oregon where there was 20 miles of delapidated trailers with multiple dead vehicles parked by them. Some developer must have sold a bunch of 10 acre lots that people thought would be their dream home. That evidently didnt work out and it looks like they just abandoned them The beautiful places included Castle Rock Pass east of Mountain Home thru the Camas Prairie. Then fron Swan Valley Id to Jackson Wy. At Jackson we rode 20 mile bike trail along the foot of the Tetons to Jenny Lake and back to Jackson, 42 mile round trip. Of course we had a thunderstorm to ride thru but missed the worst parts. I wanted turn around but Johanna called me a wimp so we ronde on. From Jackson we drove to Dubois Wy. driving along the Tetons, up to Togwotee pass on the Continental devide. From there we dropped into the Wind River drainage with beautifull green meadows with the river running thru them. About 60 miles passed Dubois we got into the high plains until the Nebraska border where came to the Sand Hills which would last till we got to Valentine Ne. our bike trip starting point. Disclaimer we don't yet know how to the pics in order and and put a caption on them. This ipad works different then the windows laptop we used before.
