Oregon Coast Bike route

Friday, September 10th We left the little Beach town of Manzanita this morning in thick fog. There was not much to be had for breakfast,but we found a place that had scones and cinnama rolls but no decaf for Mac. We got back onto 101.The route was a little like a roller coaster and we rode along the Nehalem River.There were many fishing boats trolling for Salmon We reached the little town of Rockaway Beach were we visited wth some Mt.Shasta friends.Back on 101 we rode along Tillamook Bay. Too bad there was a lot of Traffic and bike lane was often very narrow and sometimes non excisting. We made it to our hotel pretty early, took a little nap and later rode into town for a beer. Tomorrow our destination is Pacific City and we would be riding on the Cape Meares Road but its closed due to slide. we will end up taking the normal route and miss some good scenery.
